I wanted to do a wee review of some false nails I picked up in Tesco while we did our monthly shop a few weeks ago.
I'm pretty sure I've used Fing'rs products before when I was younger - I remember buying one of my first proper nail art kits in Barcelona and think it was this brand.
Anyway, I couldn't resist these nails, which could be vampire or werewolf fangs whichever you prefer, in a non twilight way! But my inner horror fan was tempted and for £5 there seemed with a shot.
The nails came with both glue and sticky tabs which I appreciated as I hate using nail glue and ending up covered in it - horrible having dried glue on your finger tips. I decided to use the tabs first and all want well, easy application but they lasted an hour. One hour! I was sitting typing on an ipad and watching tv.
So I tried the glue and that didn't go much better. I don't know why - my nails were clean and all the other things they're supposed to be but they wouldn't stay on. The nails felt weird on my fingers and I ended up taking them off the next day. One positive was easy removal - I broke the top coat with a nail file and wrapped my fingers in foil and a pad of remover.
The sizes are another thing - they had loads of big sizes but very few small ones so I struggled to find ones to fit my nails. My nails aren't abnormally small and its not an issue I have with Impress or other brands.
All in all, I'm disappointed. The nails look really cool but they sucked. I liked the red glittery tip particularly as it added a unique detail to them. I so wanted them to be good quality but I wouldn't bother agin, no matter how cute and different they are!
Oh that's such a bummer! As soon as I saw them I loved them too and wanted them to be amazing. Thank you for giving such an honest review though, it's pretty much a certainty that I would have bought them if I'd come across them so you've saved me a fiver right there!
